Callum Smart Violinist

Violinist Callum Smart is an internationally sought-after chamber musician and soloist, celebrated for the sincerity of his singing line and his ‘winning sense of natural authority’ (The Strad). He performs alongside leading artists at major venues including Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Auditorium du Louvre, and has performed concerti with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, and BBC Philharmonic.

Smart is Assistant Professor of Violin at Carnegie Mellon University and is a guest at leading institutions including Oberlin Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, and Orford Musique. He has also built an online violin education community of more than 60,000 Instagram followers.
